You accept or question each one; a person at the shop decides the ones you question. Anything above the deposit is charged to the same account, and the rest is released when the shop settles. Cancelling before pickup refunds the fee as this page says. Your rental page shows the full mandate.

If something comes back damaged or missing
These are the only amounts the shop can take from your deposit, and only after you have seen the photos. Normal wear is never charged.

If you cancel before pickup
- Cancel at least 24 hours before the pickup day starts (00:00 UTC) and you get back the whole rental fee.
- Cancel later, but before the pickup day starts and you get back half the rental fee.
- From the pickup day on, the fee is not refunded. The deposit is only held at pickup, so there is none to give back before then.
You cancel on your own rental page; the refund goes back to your PayPal. These terms are fixed in your booking when you pay.
